Beginning January 1, 2027, we are phasing out our Basic membership level, and Basic Plus will become The Bookmark’s entry-level membership. Current Basic members will receive Basic Plus access on January 1. All Basic Plus members will also receive a third user seat.
What is changing?
We are retiring the Basic membership level on January 1, 2027. Current Basic members will receive Basic Plus access, including the member resource hub, expert-led webinars, and practical tools and resources such as the Better Practices Guide.
Will our price change on January 1, 2027?
No. Your current agreement’s price and terms remain in place. Your renewal options depend on when your agreement ends. Not sure of your renewal date? Contact us at thebookmark@higheredlicensurepros.com.
Can we add another user?
Yes. Beginning January 1, 2027, your institution may add a third user at no additional cost. Contact us at thebookmark@higheredlicensurepros.com.
What if we renew in the last quarter of 2026?
You can renew at current Basic pricing:
- $6,000 for a one-year agreement or
- $5,000 per year with a multi-year agreement.
You will receive Basic Plus access starting January 1, while the price and terms of the agreement you sign in 2026 remain in place.
What happens if we choose a one-year agreement in 2026?
When that agreement comes up for renewal in 2027, you can choose a one-year Basic Plus agreement at $8,000 or a two-year Basic Plus agreement at a special rate of $6,000 per year for both years.
What if our current Basic agreement renews in 2027?
When you renew, you can choose a one-year Basic Plus agreement at $8,000 or a two-year Basic Plus agreement at a special rate of $6,000 per year for both years.
Do we need to do anything now?
No action is needed to receive Basic Plus access right now. Our team will contact you before your renewal date to review your options and answer questions. However, if you want to add a third user on January 1, you must contact us at thebookmark@higheredlicensurepros.com.
