Our History: HELP began in 2020, when Kris Maul and Nan Kalke saw institutions struggling to meet new federal professional licensure disclosure requirements without the expertise or capacity to conduct the necessary research. They combined their experience in professional licensure, accreditation, and curriculum to provide customized support. As they worked with institutions, they recognized a broader need for shared, reliable licensure research, which led to the creation of The Bookmark. Today, HELP supports more than 200 institutions through The Bookmark and our customized consulting services.
